The Emergency Ban on Flavored E-Cigarettes; What’s Next?
When you are anything like me, you don’t actually care what E-Cigarette flavors the federal government decides to make legal, only to view it make its way in to the hands of the general public. I am sure there are a few people who are really that concerned, and have stood up for his or her rights to be able to choose what flavors they want to used in their vaporizer. However, if you are an American citizen who is older than 18, you have a to vote.
It might sound crazy but there are plenty of illnesses associated with carbon monoxide smoke, including cancer, and everyone should desire to quit smoking. There are various toxins found in secondhand cigarette smoke that can cause lung disease, depression, anxiety, weight gain and many other negative unwanted effects. If people start smoking, they tend to inhale so much smoke that they can only have one lung after the first few cigarettes. Vaping flavors like Blueberry Blast, Fruit Colada or Grapefruit Temptations will not increase the level of smoke inhaled, but it will definitely increase the level of vapor produced by the e Cigarette.
The reason why the government has decided to place a ban on the sale of these types of E-Cigarettes is because they’re addictive, and smokers should not be made to feel good about themselves for smoking. They just don’t have the willpower to stop, no matter how hard they try. The flavors you can buy for your vaporizers is there in order Smok Novo to puff away while you are reading the paper or doing the laundry. The ban on flavors like Blueberry Blast and Fruit Colada was designed to curb the abuse of vaporizers and e Cigarettes round the country.
According to the FDA, the ban on flavored e Cigarettes is here now to “provide a healthy alternative for consumers who are increasingly concerned about the public health crisis.” There have been reports over time that e Cigarettes tend to be more addictive than traditional cigarettes. Children are also becoming regular smokers as they do not want to miss out on all of the fun of enjoying all the new vaporizer flavors aside from blueberry and cherry. The FDA has taken an obvious stance in working with the new York City health department’s need to ban flavored vaporizers.
Most teens do not want to quit their cool cigarettes just to follow the example set by the doctors in NEW YORK. They crave the flavors of their favorite candy and chocolate and would go out of their way to purchase a common flavors. The FDA is dealing with the manufacturers of e-Cigarettes, not teens.
